My name is JV Pike, I am an award nominated VFX Compositor and Supervisor based out of Los Angeles, California. For the last couple years I've been working in Film, TV, Commercials, and Special Projects.

 

As a Compostior, I've had the amazing opportunity to work with some of the best artists in the world. I started technically as a systems engineer at Sony Pictures Imageworks, but moved on to pursue my passion for the VFX industry. Going on to work for companies such as Mirada, Sony Pictures Imageworks, Technicolor, Gradient Effects, Reliance MediaWorks, and More. Currently, I am at FuseFX as a Digital Effects Supervisor where I oversee the throughput of any given project on both the 2D and 3D side.

 

Recently, I had the great pleasure of being nominated for 2 Primetime Emmys; Outstanding Special Visual Effects for The Orville and Outstanding Special Visual Effects in a Supporting Role for Deadwood: The Movie. I hope to take this experience, along with future and past experiences, to better myself and those around me to output an exceptional product.
