My name is JV Pike, and I’m an award-winning VFX Compositor and Supervisor based in Los Angeles, California. Over the past several years, I’ve contributed to a wide range of Film, TV, Commercial, and Special Project work.

As a Senior Compositor, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with some of the most talented artists and supervisors in the industry, at studios including Mirada, Sony Pictures Imageworks, Technicolor, Gradient Effects, Reliance MediaWorks, and more.

 

I am currently a VFX Supervisor and Head of 2D at FolksVFX, where I oversee the creative direction and visual execution of our projects.​ Most recently, I served as the VFX Supervisor for Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 and Michael Keaton’s Sweetwater.

Career highlights include nominations/awards for two Primetime Emmys (The Orville and Deadwood: The Movie), two HPA Awards (The Orville and Interview with the Vampire), and a VES Award (American Horror Story: Freakshow).
